also to deposit retired flags in a retirement box to be honored in an honorable ceremony once a quarter. As the Blanco County Veterans Memorial Committee, we will strive to build

In mid-2010's, Joe Garcia had a vision for a BLANCO COUNTY VETERANS MEMORIAL. Unfortunately, he passed away in late 2020. It was a couple of years later that Sherry Jenkins met with Judge Brett Bray to rejuvenate the plan for the Blanco County Veterans Memorial.
